Ayesha Takia Azmi has been acting in Hindi films since the year 1986. Ayesha Azmi was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award 2004 for her role as the lead of the title role in Taarzan The Wonder Car. It was also her first acting role. The actress then appeared in a number of popular films, including Paathshaala (2010) Wanted (2009) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Socha Na Tha (2010).
